As racist policing practices have, once again, become topics of national conversation and debate, media provides an opportunity for us to confront the tremendous effects of our criminal (in)justice system on individual lives through storytelling. With this in mind, the projects featured in this panel explore rupture and repair within familial reunions, societal re-entry, and organized resistance.
